Today’s security solutions are missing a critical step when it comes to weapons detection and loss prevention. Traditional metal detectors and security screening devices stop short of detecting metals in shoes or on the ankles and feet. Following the tragic attacks of September 11 and subsequent shoebomber incident, IDO Security recognized an urgent need to address this void. The current “workaround” of removing shoes before passing through metal detectors is cumbersome, inconvenient and worst of all, inaccurate – creating long delays, discomfort and frustration, without fully allaying security concerns.

Working closely with the ISA (Israeli Security Agency), IDO Security developed a patented technology to change security…from the bottom up.
