Information security firm eCrypt Technologies Inc (OTCBB: ECRY) today released the latest version of its flagship email encryption product, eCrypt, now compatible with BlackBerry System Software version 5.0.

The company said that the new version release brings the total number of models supported by eCrypt's email encryption software to 26.

Currently there are 11 models that support the newest operating system 5.0, which allows users to enjoy new features such as enhanced email management, wireless contact synchronisation and Gmail integration, for a whole new level of productivity.

In addition, by running eCrypt on this new OS, users can now secure their contacts and emails, easily and seamlessly protecting their digital communications privacy.

Including previous operating systems, there are a total of 38 models offered by the company to over 300 carriers worldwide.
