Investors Tool Box: Online Stock Broker Review

Through the years in the financial equity markets online brokers have made it affordable for people to trade in the stock market. For the Investors and Traders we have come up with 8 online brokers to choose from. To begin with not all brokers are the same lets keep that in mind. The price per trade will add up if you trade quite frequently. If you're a day trader the first option is choose a broker that has advanced software for technical analysis for charting, then the second option is find a broker that is reasonable on the cost of trades. Don't sacrifice advanced charting software to save a little money on your trades. The stock chart is a trader's best friend.

5 Things To Consider When Choosing An Online Stock Broker.

1. Cost of Trades. Being active in stock trading this will matter. If you’re going to make long term investments I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

2. Trade executions. This matters if you’re a day trader or an investor. Getting the order filled quickly is very important in fast moving stocks due to unexpected news events

3. Costumer Service. Who wants to stay on the phone listening to music for five minutes trying to place a broker assisted order and the stock is going up. Not me.

4. Level 2 quotes. This is an order book with a ranked list of orders being placed through many different market makers showing a Bid x Ask. A Level 2 is nice to have either way you look at.

5. Banking. Do you want a debit card or check writing with your new trading account. This may be important to some that feel wiring money is a hassle.
