One of the team's first targets is to assist the Department of Homeland Security's port security initiative. The team has selected Detroit, Michigan for its initial point of focus due to it being the world's busiest international border crossing. In addition, both View and Trillacorpe have independent, yet simultaneous work in Michigan. Equally notable will be the partnership's internal training program, specifically designated to retrain veterans and employ them nationally throughout the JV's schedule of work.
Gunther Than, CEO of View Systems, states, "Mr. Campanaro and I both contend that the longer term potential of the JV will be to draw on each firms' public sector and Fortune 1000 clients, other industries such as healthcare and energy that Trillacorpe is already diversified in, and naturally, the Federal Bureau of Prisons."
Trillacorpe's CEO, Frank Campanaro, says, "This is not only wise to utilize military personnel who already carry security clearances and inherently operate securely through their unparalleled training and dedication to national security, but having a highly trained, seasoned work force is a unique and competitive advantage. It is also the right thing to do and we take great pride in retraining and employing our nation's veterans."
